In the world of youth sports, the Surf brand is renowned for professionalism, elite event management, high-quality coaching, and, most importantly, a deep commitment to player development. Surf’s mission is to create the best experiences and opportunities for players, and we’re excited to grow our presence in the Albany, NY area and surrounding communities!
Effectively immediately, FC Dutchmen will transition to FC Dutchmen Surf, keeping the rich history of the Dutchmen name which has strong roots in its community. The club launches in partnership with Surf Nation, an organization which has a proven track record of developing players into international youth training centers, professional academies, and collegiate ranks. Led by a truly experienced leadership team, FC Dutchmen Surf will continue to provide a high-quality player development environment, and through the transition to Surf, all their players, families and coaches will now have access to greater resources both on and off the field.

Players from FC Dutchmen Surf will have direct access to Surf Select, an unprecedented identification program built through Surf Nation for players U9 through U17 at the Regional and National level. The Surf Select program draws from the Surf Network, a player pool that expands from Puerto Rico and Rhode Island to Hawaii and Canada to compete in some of the best domestic and international events in the world of football.
