San Diego, CA., March 26, 2024— Surf Cup Sports (San Diego, CA) is proud to announce the launch of our newest partner club, Sunrise Surf. In the world of youth sports, the Surf brand is renowned for professionalism, elite event management, high-quality coaching, and, most importantly, a deep commitment to player development. Our mission is to create experiences and opportunities for players, and we’re excited to announce our first step toward achieving that goal in Florida.
Effective immediately, Sunrise Sting, with a rich history of developing players throughout South Florida, will transition to the newly formed Sunrise Surf. Launching in partnership with Surf Nation, a community with a proven track record of developing players into International Youth Training Centers, Professional Academies, and onto the Collegiate Ranks. Led by the most experienced Coaches, Staff, and Administrators, Sunrise Surf will continue to provide a high-quality development experience. It will now have access to further opportunities within the Surf Community.

We aim to continue providing elite-level pathways locally, regionally, and nationally, focusing on being the premium destination for youth soccer development in Sunrise and the surrounding communities. We are excited to welcome Sunrise Surf players, coaches, and families into the Surf Nation Family.”

Sunrise Surf will continue to provide the best player development experience, pathway, and opportunities within the state. Being a part of the Surf Nation network, Sunrise Surf players and families will have access to additional support on and off the field to ensure that we continue to be the number one soccer destination.
The top players from Sunrise Surf will have direct access to Surf Select, an unprecedented identification program built through Surf Nation. This program allows selected players to compete in the best international and domestic events, picking from a player pool that expands from Puerto Rico and Rhode Island to Hawaii and Canada.
