San Diego, CA., April 17, 2025 — Surf Nation is proud to announce the launch of our newest partner club, East Coast Surf. In the world of youth sports, the Surf brand is renowned for professionalism, elite event management, high-quality coaching, and, most importantly, a deep commitment to player development. Surf’s mission is to create experiences and opportunities for players, and we’re excited to grow our presence in the Long Island, NY area.
Launching immediately, New York Surf who has been part of the Surf Nation community since 2019, and East Coast FC will rebrand to East Coast Surf. Led by experienced coaches and administrators with a deep history in the Long Island community, East Coast Surf will continue to provide a high-quality player development environment, and, through the transition to Surf, will now have full access to all the resources and opportunities both on and off the field.

We have been patiently working on the right time to bring this all together, and we are delighted to launch this partnership moving into the 25/26 season. As part of the Surf Nation network, East Coast Surf players and families will have access to additional support on and off the field to ensure we strive to be the premium soccer destination in Long Island. Players from East Coast Surf will have direct access to Surf Select, an unprecedented identification program built through Surf Nation for players U9 through U17 at the Regional and National level. The Surf Select program draws from the Surf Network, a player pool that expands from Puerto Rico and Rhode Island to Hawaii and Canada to compete in some of the best domestic and international events in world football.
