Surf Nation is comprised of like-minded coaches and administrators dedicated to our Surf mission to provide the best experiences and opportunities for their athletes. Since 2024, Lincoln Surf has been a proud partner of Surf Nation, and we have thoroughly enjoyed the partnership. We have watched their amazing club grow and seen them take full advantage being a part of the Surf brand.

What is the greatest benefit to Lincoln Surf being part of the Surf Nation community?
One of the most significant advantages of being part of the Surf Nation community is the wealth of resources it provides. From coaching education to expanded player opportunities, the Surf brand has helped us elevate the experience for both players and families. Since joining, we have seen tremendous growth in participation and interest within the Lincoln community, a reflection of the strong reputation and value Surf Nation brings to local clubs like ours.
As the 2024/2025 season wraps up, what are some of the highlights from the past season for your club?
As we wrap up the 2024/25 season, we’re proud to celebrate several milestones:
A 100% graduation rate among our senior players, reinforcing our commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Continued on-field success, with numerous trophies and strong showings across tournaments.
An increased focus on coaching development, with many coaches completing Grassroots training and earning their National D Licenses—further strengthening our coaching staff and overall program quality.
Looking ahead to the 2025/2026 season, what excites you the most?
We are excited about the continued growth of Lincoln Surf. Building stronger relationships with our community and stakeholders remains a priority, and we are eager to maximize the opportunities Surf Nation offers. We look forward to attending the Surf Summit again this year, where we will connect with other Surf clubs, exchange ideas, and bring back new strategies to enhance our home club.
Lincoln Surf collaborated with Omaha Surf and Western Iowa Surf to create WIN Surf for the Surf Nation Champions League event – can you talk about the process of collaboration and what your players/staff got out of this experience? What other ways are these three clubs collaborating?
Lincoln Surf is proud to be part of WIN Surf, a strategic partnership with Western Iowa Surf and Omaha Surf. This collaboration brings together the top players and coaches from all three clubs to create high-level competitive platforms. Through tryouts and club nominations, we have formed 14 WIN Surf teams that have competed regionally. Our U14 boys and girls teams traveled to San Diego in February to compete in the Surf Nation Champions League. Nine players from Lincoln have been selected to join Surf National Teams for events in San Diego, Washington, Spain, London, and Morocco—an incredible opportunity and honor for our club.
As we enter the tryout phase for the 2025/26 season, we are energized by what is ahead, including a major event in Texas this Fall. We look forward to continuing to grow, compete, and represent Surf Nation with pride.
