San Diego, CA., June 1, 2024—  Surf Nation is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with MiMentor, a leading provider of online coach education. This collaboration will transform the coaching landscape within the organization, elevating development standards across all teams through integrating MiMentor’s innovative, academic-led courses and content into Surf Nation’s coaching education platform. MiMentor will support surf coaches through educational opportunities, and coaches will now easily access a rich digital library of resources to plan and execute development plans for all ages and stages of the process.

“We are excited to partner with MiMentor to help elevate our coaching education,” said Gary Curneen, Surf Nation Director of Football. “Our partnership with MiMentor will not only help provide accessible, high-quality educational content throughout Surf Nation  but will also enhance individual development of our coaches and, most importantly, our players.”

Utilizing a bespoke version of the MiMentor Online Platform, Surf Nation aims to streamline coach education and onboarding processes, ensuring the club’s culture and educational standards are consistently delivered across its network.

James Baker, CEO of MiMentor, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Surf Nation to empower Surf coaches to inspire young athletes to excel on and off the field through a bespoke white-label platform and access to our library of expert coaching content. Working closely with the Surf Team, we have developed unique Surf Nation modules distributed throughout the organization, enabling us to gather valuable insights to shape future content.
