San Diego, CA., June 27, 2023— Surf Cup Sports (San Diego, CA) is proud to announce the launch of our newest partner club, Central Coast Surf. In the world of youth sports, the Surf brand is renowned for professionalism, elite event management, high-quality coaching, and, most importantly, a deep commitment to player development, resulting in hundreds of All-American athletes and thousands of scholarships. Our mission is to create experiences and opportunities for kids, and we’re excited to announce our next step toward achieving this goal in the Central Coast area.
Effective immediately, two of the oldest clubs, the Central Coast Condors and Coastal Valley Soccer Club (CVSC) are merging to create the newly formed Central Coast Surf. These two clubs, with a rich tradition on the central coast, will join the Surf brand to bring together their existing player pool, coaching staff, and resources to create improved experiences, a new player development pathway, and further opportunities for all players in the area.
The Surf Nation community has a proven track record of developing players and seeing them move through the player pathway into the U.S. National Team Program as well as into the professional and collegiate ranks. Led by the most experienced and passionate staff, Central Coast Surf will provide high-quality programming and a complete pathway for elite players within the region.

The local club soccer community has become overly fragmented and cost prohibitive for many aspiring youth soccer players in the area. Coastal Valley Soccer Club (CVSC) and the Central Coast Condors F.C. have combined their resources to partner and form an exclusive affiliation with the renowned Surf Soccer Club. This partnership will now be Central Coast Surf and will launch with 50 boys and girls teams of all ages, enabling youth soccer to grow like never before on the Central Coast. For now, nothing has changed for the current CVSC and Condors teams, coaches, and families, but we are excited about all the new opportunities this partnership will bring to the youth of the Central Coast. Central Coast Surf will continue to provide the best player development experience, pathway, and opportunities in the community. Being part of the Surf Nation network, players and families will have access to additional support on and off the field to ensure we remain the number one soccer destination.
The top players from Central Coast Surf will have direct access to Surf Select, an unprecedented identification program built through Surf Nation. This program allows selected players to compete in the best international and domestic events, picking from a player pool that expands from Puerto Rico, Rhode Island to Hawaii and Canada.
