Surf Cup Sports (San Diego, CA) is proud to announce our continued expansion into Canada with our newest partnership with Ottawa City Soccer Club (OCSC), based in Ottawa, Ontario. OCSC joins the Surf brand to create improved experiences and opportunities for their players and community. Starting in 2021, OCSC will remain an independent club but will have full access to the Surf Nation Community, administrative, and marketing tools; every OCSC athlete will wear the Surf Nation patch.

OCSC will be joining Surf Nation with the support of San Diego Surf Soccer Club, which has a proven track record of developing players and seeing them move through the player pathway into the US National Team Program and the professional and collegiate ranks. Led by the most experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate soccer coaches in the province, OCSC will continue to provide high-quality programming and a pathway for elite players to access the Surf Select program.  OCSC will also continue to deliver a holistic approach to player development by challenging players to learn the game positively and with encouragement.

As Surf Nation expands into Canada, we aim to provide players in Ottawa and surrounding communities access to the Surf Network, the ability to showcase their talent across the US, and the resources for Coaches to develop elite athletes across the province.

The top players in OCSC will have direct access to Surf Select, a National identification program built through Surf Nation providing select players the opportunity to compete in the best international and domestic events, picking from a player pool from 36 Clubs across North America.
