“We are evolving again,” said Valley Surf Founder and President Benjamin Gonzalez. “We don’t take change lightly and believe this will propel us to another level in our region. Working together and with a mission of transforming communities and impacting player’s lives can only be achieved if we put player development first.”

“It has been my goal for over a decade to put together a team that can transform how players are developed in my community. Our goal is to make sure no player ever has to leave the Valley, and we will work tirelessly to become that club for them,” said VP of Soccer Vince Meyer.

Valley Surf Technical Director Adam Reeves

“Through this partnership, we look forward to aligning the top talent in the Valley and providing a real pathway for all of our players to compete at the college and professional levels. I am excited about joining this project and helping Valley Surf become the hub for elite soccer in the Valley. Our Valley region has long been a hotbed for talent, but unfortunately, many end up leaving our region for other clubs. My goal is to lead an organization that can raise the level of developmental opportunities within our region so no player has to look elsewhere. The infrastructure is in place; now combining that with top soccer leaders should enable us to execute this vision,” said Valley Surf Technical Director Adam Reeves.

“Valley Surf is another important building block in Surf Nation. Working together with local community leaders and leveraging the Surf brand and community’s power will result in better experiences and opportunities for kids. This region of California is full of talent but needs a more robust structure to fulfill the potential of these players,” said Brian Enge, CEO Surf Sports.
